In December 2015, Rho Gamma Sigma was chartered in Spring Valley, NY, which spans throughout Rockland County, NY. The original charter members were Joel Victor, Duane Penister, Marc Pollard, Robert Okonkwo, and Eric Goodwin. Seeing the need to expand Sigma’s footprint in the Hudson Valley, these five brothers came together to become vessels of change within the region. Since our inception, we have grown to nearly 30 brothers throughout the region.
“The Roc,” as we know it, will continue to get into “good trouble” as a means of redeeming our community’s soul. As the founders envisioned, the men of Rho Gamma Sigma have made their mark in a wide range of different professions. We have individuals in cancer research, education, social work, finance, not-for-profit, entertainment, and even the military.
